Covent Garden rarely slows down, with the piazza drawing crowds into the evening and the narrow streets toward Seven Dials packed with shops, bars, and flats stacked directly above them. Knight & Falcon Locksmiths works across both halves of these buildings, meaning a single call out can involve a commercial shutter lock downstairs and a residential mechanism upstairs, sometimes on the same visit.
We are DBS checked, fully insured, and every job carries a 12 month warranty. There is no call out fee, and we attempt non destructive entry first wherever the lock and door condition allow it.
Lockouts at any hour, with non destructive entry attempted first before any more invasive method is considered.
Shutter and door lock repairs for shops and restaurants, plus access control and master key systems for the theatres and venues in the area.
Existing locks brought up to BS3621 British Standard anti snap specifications, suited to the flats sitting above Covent Garden’s shopfronts.
Sticking or misaligned mechanisms diagnosed and repaired, common in the area’s residential conversions above street level businesses.
There is no call out fee, and the cost of the work is confirmed before we start, never adjusted once we have arrived.
Every technician has passed an Enhanced DBS check and holds full insurance, information we give upfront rather than only on request.
Drilling is a last resort, used only when a lock has genuinely failed internally, and always explained before it happens.
Parts and labour are covered for a full year, whether the work is a shutter repair or a residential lock change.
